A Guide to a History of Hate

Somebody finally did it! Someone has discovered a means to understanding all of the ethnic squabbles that take place on the tiny planet that we call Earth. I read it for my personal edification, and found the results to be very informative. There is so much diversity in the differences, that I hope that I am able to encompass all of this information onto my weblog. Better yet, I will post the link to this educational site. Here it is:

Outing Sheryl Swoopes

Probably the greatest individual female basketball player in the short history of the WNBA has proclaimed her sexual preference to the world. Why? As a straight man who loves basketball, as long as you're not molesting animals and kids, and you have a mean jump shot(which she has), I could care less about your preference! But perhaps that is the point. She did not come out for the benefit of people like me, but for people like herself. She seems to feel that her celebrity will probably encourage others who are "in the closet" to step out boldly and proudly. She probably feels that this will answer some questions that a few people have already asked silently regarding her sexuality. I mean, if she weren't gay, why didn't she ask me out? But that is besides the point again. As long as her game is tight, do your thing.

Rosa Parks

The Civil Rights icon passed on this day. Let us take a moment to reflect on how her actions helped spark a significant movement in American history. Sometimes you just have to say, "Enough is enough." What a wonderful act of defiance that has contributed greatly to my ability to be right where I am and post whatever I feel like for anyone to read. Thank you Rosa Parks!

OMG, I'm in love!

With this new website! I just found a song by Miles Davis that I haven't heard in a long time. Its the theme song to a French movie called "Ascenceur pour le echafaud" which means "Lift to the Scaffold". Where did I find that song for free? On radioblogclub.com! Want the link? Simply copy and paste it! I'm to hyped to do it right now!

Never Give Up

Quitting is not, and should never be an option. I don't understand how a person can commit to something, and then consider quitting. Take a break? Sure. Wait a while? No problem. Quit? Nah ah. Never. Whatever you decide to take on in life, never give up because eventually you will get to where you want to go. Why am I writing about this? What is going on that is so deep that I decided to do a topic about quitting? Life is deep, and there are many deep aspects to it that make it deep. Don't worry, I'm hardly thinking about ending my own life. I've been thinking about different things that I deal with that made me want to quit dealing with them. But quitting is not in my bones. Quitting is not in my DNA. Quitting is for losers, and if you're reading this, you're not a loser. Like Jim Valvano said, "Never, ever give up." No matter what you are dealing with, it will get better, and you can count on that!

Coke or Pepsi

Its a debate that has been around for years, and its time to settle it right here, right now. We all know that the new Coke blew chunks, but let's talk about the basics. Which is better, Coke or Pepsi? My pick?

Coke!
