Did you think that Abraham Lincoln freed all of the slaves in the world? He actually only freed the slaves in the South, while slaves in the North were being held. Isn't that crazy? And we celebrated this man authoring the Emancipation Proclamation. On some level, it was progress, but hardly about morality as is taught in schools.
